After spending a few days in Krabi watching movies, eating the cheapest tastiest food I have had on the trip (coconut milk fried with cornflower and yummy spag bol) getting my washing cleaned and folded for $1!!! and getting my visa re-newed (12hour bus journey which stirred up my car sickness) I was ready to hit the beach again!

Ryan, Oonaugh and myself took a bus down to Ko Lanta, a quite island which is a great chill out place. Even though we are in high season this week has been very quite. It has been a few days of eating drinking at beach huts a small amount of sunbaking (too hot!) and plenty of lying in a hammock reading books. Just finished Kite runner (great) and shantaram (not worth lugging around)...

Unfortunately last night we were telling stories of things under beds and I finished reading see australia and die (book about people dying from snakes etc) and I woke to a knawing sound under my bed.... freaking out at 4am searching my room ( i had noticed my banana had been eaten) I figured out I must have a rat under or in my bedding. I was drifting back off to sleep when i felt the bed move in a massively big way!!! arr nad the worst it ate some of my clothes and my VEGEMITE!!! I was loving having my toast!! The Vegemite was no where in site but I reckon the guy I chatted to about it will find it under my bed and thats what the gnawing was.... that's bamboo huts for you.

So in the next few days I plan to yet around the island on my moped take a few photos, go to a full moon party on the beach and find some more banana, coconut pancakes. Headin back to Phuket to do thai boxing in a few days then to Vietnam!
