It's Tuesday and I am in Somoto. Lenin has been sick with upset stomach and general grossness, so we went out to his uncle's house and found some root that helps with stomach aches, and picked some lemon grass for lemon grass tea, which is great for congestion. And then I gave him some Benadryl and knocked him out. He woke up feeling helluva lot better! Yay natural medicine and benadryl.

Also went to the post office and received.... two letters from my mom, one card from my great Aunt Pearl of San Diego, and a manila envelope from my mom.

There is one internet cafe in Somoto that has ethernet cables to hook up laptops. Technically I think any internet cafe can hook you up for your laptop, but I like this one. It's bright and has a good connection and the girl who works in the morning is a daughter of a man in Moropoto, so she knows who I am and we chat. I also like to upload photos directly from my laptop.

I am rambling. I plan on writing a long article or two about wedding planning in a 3rd world Latin country. I am not the type of girl who has been planning her wedding since she was five. When I was five years old I was wearing camoflauge, pretending to be Rambo, and creating escape routes from my treehouse. Which is just as well, since planning this event is nothing like it would ever be in the States anyway and anyone who had a dream wedding (Father of the Bride) would be sorely disappointed trying to figure it out down here. More on all of this later.

Ha Ha Ha Ha!!
Oh, we love you so, Molly! "IF ONLY" I knew enough about how to do all of this stuff that you do on the internet,... I would most CERTAINLY post a picture of you at 5 years old just to show how PERFECTLY you described yourself. GEEZ....I love those pictures!! (sigh). Have you opened the envelope titled "gloves" yet? Too small for your southern family? Will they help you to get YOURS back?? Ha! Hug Lenin all better from me, too! xoxoxo

Developing nation, Molly, not 3rd world. It's so much more hopeful that way...go ahead and ponder.
