Well want to start off with saying the Superbowl was a great game to watch. Both teams played well and it was destined for the Saints to win, the State of Lousiana needed something to revive that place and this was their time, so hats off to the Saints. There were two things that made it difficult to watch though, the first was it came on here at 1130 and ended around 3 and for a Sunday night that is late and also we couldnt see any of the commercials (which is the best part of the Superbowl), but heard they were good ha. We had a game Sunday as well against UCC Demons and it was another tough defeat for the Elks. We only had seven players coming into the game so that meant I had to play the whole game and boy i forgot how difficult that was, but managed to stay out of foul trouble and did it and was extremely exhausted after. We lost by three, but was up 1 with 40 seconds left, one of these days the ball will fall our way in that situation, I promise! The game was played in a historic gym down in Cork (which for people who dont know is the most Southern part of the Republic of Ireland), forget the name (will get back to you all on that), but a pretty cool atmosphere I have to say. This week on Tuesday we had a college game down in Dublin against DCU and we won. After me and my two new American friends who are studying abroad here (Kim from Wisconsin and Lara from Pennsylvania) and some other peeps went out for a little bit of criac (yes I said "craic" ha). We stayed in a Hostel which was a first for us all. We have a random roommate from Norway staying in our room and I have to say it is a bit wierd, but we managed to survive. The next day we walked (and I mean walked for miles, forgot how much women love to walk!) all over Dublin. They wanted to see the Gunniess Factory so we went there and then we walked back to Temple Bar area for lunch. I had my first Traditional Irish Fish and Chips (french fries) and boy was it good. A little salt and vinegar on it...yummy in my tummy! This weekend hopefully if the weather is better back home clears up my mom is coming in town Sunday morning!! (cant wait cause she is my Valentine's Day date..ha) While she is here we have four games, the first being Sunday against Limerick. We are hoping to give them their second loss of the season, will let you all know how it goes...Last thing dont know if I told you all, but my roommate Kevin Foley and I got a Mini Cooper from the Ulster Elks, we are very thankful for it, but we just got it branded and one of the stickers saying, "Ulster Elk, The little car for big people," pretty funny. Hope everyone has a great weekend and a great Valentine's Day!

Will step my picture game up, have a lot to upload, one day I will get around to it!

Love&Peace
