The day has finally come, in exactly 10 hours I will be on the plane heading to Australia. To my surprise packing wasn't that hard at all, I fit everything I need for a month and a half in one large backpack, even more suprising it only weighes 29 pounds! Luckily I brought mostly just bathing suits and those are so easy to pack. I am getting a little concerned about the weather in SF, hopefully the worst of the rain won't start until after we fly out tonight. We only have an hour to change flights LA so we don't have time for any weather delays in SF. From LA we go on to Sydney and finally then to Melbourne, so in all the trip is going to take about 19 hours. But I know the long flight will be forgotten the second I step off that plane into 85 degree weather. Rochelle (my cousin) and I are meeting up with two girls from Sweden (Nicole and Caroline) at the hostile in Melbourne and then our vacation will officially start.
I am so excited to start this trip, it was definately a long time coming. I am so thankful to my parents for supporting me and giving me this wonderful opportunity. I will try to update this blog as often as I can to keep everyone up to date 😊 Also if you subscribe to this blog it will send you an email letting you when I post new blogs. Talk you you when I get to Oz!
