the sun was trying to peek through
We hated to leave St. Joseph Peninsula SP, but it was time to head for home. It was still pretty cool this morning when we were packing up, but the winds had calmed. It has been cloudy all day and we never saw temps above the low 50's.

We stopped and bought t-shirts for the grandkids, then headed for DeFuniak Springs to see my Aunt Patty and possibly my cousins Cathy and Gena. It was good to see Aunt Pat again and we had a nice visit, but missed my cousins. We couldn't wait around because we are still having a problem with our running lights on the camper, so can't drive with it after dark. So here we are in Montgomery, AL, listening to the trains and ambulances go past. I already miss those quiet Florida state parks. We'll be home tomorrow afternoon. We can't wait to see our kids and grandkids.

Been Snowed In At Big Sandy
Charlie, I wished that you could have had sunny beautiful weather, but it was still better than what we've had for the first 4 or 5 days. Today, Tuesday (2/2) has been the first day that we could get out. The main roads have been passable but secondary roads have been impassible. It has really been nice to have a computer to be on to help me feel not so isolated. Have a safe trip back home. Stay in touch. Mary Powers
