Well, Steph and I arrvied safe and sound to Delhi on the 16th of March. Our bags arrived as well which was a huge relief. We had an exhausting day waiting for planes, but we are glad to be here. Delhi is a bit of a hectic City. So far, I am enjoying it but it is quite literally, padamonium! The trafic rules here are worse then in Cambodia. So, here, it is all about honking the horn. You honk if you are passing, honk if you are not stopping and honk if you want the other guy to move out of the way. Otherwise, that is about it! Rickshaws, cyclos, taxis and cars are pretty much bumper to bumper (literally). We have gotten bumped into a couple of times while in the Rickshaw but no damage done to us! Stephanie also got swung around by a Cyclo when he hit her backpack! She was fine! It was pretty funny though. Anyway, Delhi has been interesting. We are staying in a great little guest house on Main Bazaar in Parganj district (pretty busy but full of backpackers). There are often electricity shortages. Sometimes, when you are taking a shower, everything goes black. You just have to wait for the generators to kick in so you can see again. Yesterday we toured the red fort and tried to visit the Chandni Chowk shopping street. We gave up on shopping pretty quickly! It was a little too crowded and a little too touchy (aka, guys "accidentally" bumping into places they should not). All part of the experience but... We then took a Rickshaw for about $10U.S to visit the site where Mahatma Gandhi was creamated. Today, we set out to visit Humayun's Tomb. I thought the whole thing was spectacular. Hopefully, I will find a compputer that will allow me to put pictures up soon. After visiting the tomb, I met Steph outside and she was chatting with two young girls (8 and 10 from Delhi). They were so adorable. They loved having their pictures taken. We also taught them a few words in English and they taught us a few in Hindi. (Not that I will remember any). Tonight, we are leaving by night bus to Jaipur. It should be quite interesting. It is an eight hour ride it seats that recline only a little. We tried to get bunks but they were sold out. But, it only cost about $8U.S. to travel for 8 hours. There are no toilets on the bus and the driver does not stop at bus stops. If you need to go to the washroom, your options are limited. It is either a bottle, or the side of the road. Steph and I opted for the side of the road. Yesterday, we prepared ourselves for the journey by purchasing skirts! We had been planning to head first to Agra to view the Taj Mahal however, we learned that it costs $80U.S. to enter. We didn't think that was worth it so we will head directly to Jaipur instead. Then we will head down to Pushkar and Ajmer before going to Jaisalmer. Well, that is about it for the Delhi update.

a little advice
I think someone's feeding you a pack of lies. You don't need 80 bucks to get into the Taj. I think it's around 15 bucks per person(non-indian citizens). Go see it, it's worth the visit.
