I am in Ruian now, which is south of Shanghai by about a one hour flight. Getting here was mostly painless. The international flight was great, decent food, smooth sailing. I arrived in Shanghai on time, and found the correct bus that took me over to HongQiao airport across town. After about a 45 minute ride, I got off, and eventually found my hotel after a couple of wrong turns, but it was right next to the airport, so that was very nice.
Then I flew down to Wenzhou where I have been learning about the cup machines, helping to troubleshoot issues with the different paper that they are not used to, and learning how to adjust the machine for various characteristics of the cup.

Well, I'm actually in the PVG Shanghai airport now, I never got to finish this entry the last few days. Sharon will be here in about an hour, so I am utilizing my spare hour until my battery runs out.
Maybe I will just try to put up a couple pics...

OK, so as far as the machines go, there are a few things to finish up, and they should be ready next week. There will be a big learning curve, but I'm excited to get them set up and get going on it.

It was fun being their guest, as I was taken care of well, with meals and massages. There are many restaurants that have a slightly different take on their food, so it has been fun to indulge in tasting varieties of flavors. One day we had a really spicy hot soup, anad spicy shrimp, it was really good. But, sometimes it gets a little trying since I am pretty much stuck with them all the time. But generally, it was a good experience, and I think I picked the right company to work with on the machines.
Anyway, now Sharon and I will be fending for ourselves, which is a totally different experience... more of a roll of the dice since we won't know what places are good. But that is definitely fun, also. I'm looking forward to spending some time with Sharon, and being a traveler instead of doing the business thing.

That's it, the battery is getting low....

It's all I could come up with on short notice. Hope that you and Sharon are living the dream in Shangri-La, or some other picturesque province. Syonara..... wait a minute, wrong language.
