This entry is just to provide a few more holiday snaps from the Shanghai area. There are many pleasant gardens and places in Hanzhou, making it a deservedly popular destination. Famous for it's Chrysanth tea apparently.
While in Shanghai, I took a walk around Pudongs' CBD area to have a gander at some of the shiny-new monuments to global capitalism there. The upper half of Jin Mao Tower is host to a luxury hotel with a rather impressive vertigo-inducing atrium. You can go in and take a look for free; though if you fancy sticking around for a beer you'll probably need to renegotiate the credit limit on your visa card first.
