Today was a rest day and time to catch up on planning our trip to Cambodia, Lao and book our plane tickets for India. After 2 hours I found that Air India could take us to Kolkota or as we know it Calcutta. With all airlines charging around $450AUD each we managed to get them for $100AUD each “what a bargain!” But I’m sure we will pay for it down the track when we fall out of the sky and crash, or we may be riding in the cargo hull with all the chooks for that price.
We also sat around and caught up with other fellow travellers to get great tips to other countries we are going to visit. We already have so many people offering a bed to stay in when we get to Europe. 5:00 in the afternoon and it was time to get to Khao San road to have our first meal for the day and catch the bus to go down to Ko pan yang. The bus was nice and comfy but impossible to sleep without a travel pillow and with a very restless sleep waking up every ½ hour to adjust yourself and un-kink your neck back to the other side only to un-kink it again another 1/2hour later. It would be a good reason to get a massage when we get to the island.
