He was a "Lone Rancher" and I wore a simple masquerade mask.
We survived our first Halloween in China. It sure did feel different since China doesn't really celebrate China at all. Here are a few pictures from our night out at NYPD a pizza joint in Futian, central part of Shenzhen. NYPD is owned by Thompson, Chinese-American, who is from San Fran, CA. Pete was very excited to speak to him about owning a business in China. Thompson said this year the rules changed and a foreigner can own a business in Shenzhen and gets tax breaks. Before this year you had to have a Chinese National be part owner, which seemed risky.

We missed Staci and Martin for they were on a free trip to Hangzhou with their school. Also, Jimmy and Cali were in Hong Kong for the weekend with Mary, Jimmy's sister, who is visiting from Boston.

Look like you made the most of what you had to work with! We had 4 guys, probably in 5-6 grade, come trick or treating dressed as KISS. They did a great job and looked very realistic. We went to a great party which one couple throws every year. We never know what to expect.
