This weekend everyone in the USA will change their clocks back one hour. I have always wondered what it would be like if we didn't change the clocks ahead in the spring and back in the fall.

Well this year I will find out. China doesn't do Daylight Savings and interestingly China only has ONE time zone for this HUGE country. How does this effect you, you are are probably thinking, right?

For everyone in the Eastern time zone after you change your clocks we will be 13 hours ahead of you, Central time zone we will be 14 hours ahead of you, Mountain time zone we will be 15 hours ahead of you and those in the Pacific time zone we will be 16 hours ahead of you. As if it wasn't hard enough to call back to the states, now it will be even harder with this extra hour.

Our countdown is on for Cambodia only 4 more days and we get on yet another plane to visit another country YEAH!!!! We get to add another 2 countries to our list since we fly into Bangkok, Thailand and take a bus to the Cambodia border.

Happy Halloween Everyone and enjoy your extra hour of sleep.

Good Luck!!!
Last February I took a bus from Siem Reap to Bangkok. Worst overland trip of my life. It was boiling lava hot, no a/c on the bus, and they left us at the border for more than two hours waiting for our other ride. Our six hour trip actually took about 12. I hope your luck is better than mine! Also, Bangkok is a wretched city. Beware of the taxi drivers. They will try to overcharge you. Don't take a taxi that refuses to turn on the meter. Cambodia, on the other hand, was absolutely wonderful. I didn't want to leave! If you go to Siem Reap, be sure to check out Molly Malone's. Best hamburgers in Asia! Enjoy! (in case you're wondering why I checked out your blog, I was in the CTLC last year and am currently living in Shenzhen on my own)
