This trip was full of historical information and it forces you to look beyond WWII to see germany's relevance to world history. 1st stop Berlin, extreemly young and alive. Art, the old, as found in the museum Island where you find the pergamum museum and the boden museum, intermingles with the new when you round the corner and come to Lust pltz and see the water gyezer exhibit across the street.

Had a great time in Berlin thankfully I got there for Oct 3 which is German reunification day, with free puppet parade and rock concer @ the Brandenburg gate.

Berlin had the best tour guide, Kevin Kennedy, who was all German and supper smart and engaging. I felt I was a history class and really enjoyed all the information.

from Berlin traveled to Dresden Stopped in wittenburg for a short afternoon stay, you really dont need mre than 2 hrs in wittenburg, but it was a cute little rebuilt old town.
