Day 3 - Phuket

Day 3 -Phuket
Today we went to phi phi islands. While we were waiting to board the speedboat this lady was taking photos of people. She asked this couple to get closer and all of a sudden there was a splash. This guy moved too close to the edge and fell into the water with camera gear and all. He quickly jumped out with some assistance. It would have made the funniest home video finals but at the same time I felt sorry for him. We captured him getting out on video. lol.

We then spent the day going around the islands with some spectacular scenery on the way. See attached photos. We fed monkeys on monkey island. They came up and took food from our hands. One of the guys got too adventurous and a monkey jumped on his upper leg and would not let go for a few seconds. He was lucky he did not get bitten and the monkey was really angry. We also did some snorkelling and hand fed fish.

There were a variety of ppl on our boat - 3 nice girls from Austria, 6 ppl from India and couples from Japan and Ireland.

On our last stop this guy was selling ice-creams. The sign said 20 baht so I asked for one. I grabbed it and then all of a sudden he said 180thb. Talk about getting ripped off.....

I never thought I would say this but I am sick of the attention from girls (kind of like back in Aus :P ). They hassle us everywhere we go. lol.

Yes, they were girls (i didnt hang around to check but pretty sure they were) and my wallet is fine :) When the ladyboy frisked my friend i think he/she was looking for a wallet (i hope). lol
