First test entry

Just testing this new site, been in Goa since Oct last year running our Bar in Calangute (this is the 4th year since first opening), the bar is called Karma Shooters but everyone knows it as just 'shooters' we are coming to the end of the season now and are starting to wind down by taking some time off and relaxing on the beaches up and down Goa. The season will end for us on the 30th April when the last charter plane flies out, monsoon brings lots of rain, domestic tourists and travellers to Goa from all corners of the globe. There are some pictures of Palolem beach in the south which we think is the best in the whole state, it is away from the hustle and bustle of Calangute in the north and somewhere to chill after a few hectic weeks of entertaining the tourists !!

Currently planning our trip to Hong Kong at the start of May which coincides with my (Barry's) 40th birthday and is probably the real reason for the visit (always wanted to sample it). After doing a great deal of research we are staying in Kowloon for the first couple of nights and then moving onto HK island until we head to Macau for one of the festivals.

Nice Idea!
Very handy site,i'll start a journal too so you can check in every now and then to remind yourselves what snow and rain and depressed people look like. :-)
