After dropping everyone off back in Gothemcity, Sweden, I spent the rest of the weekend with Katie and her family in Oxevik. It's quite odd to be someplace and have absolutely no idea where you are. I mean, since I left JP this has been the case, but usually I can at least think, 'okay, I'm on the train between X and Y.' But that weekend, if you had handed me a map of Sweden, I would have had no clue where to point.

I did make some observations, however:

1. Saunas make jumping into a cold ocean possible. Awesome people ensure you don't pass up on the opportunity for this experience, even if it's at the hands of peer pressure.

2. The grass around the house (which used to be an old fish oil plant) was perhaps the greenest green I've ever seen

3. 'Where's Waldo' is still fun to "read"; a classic... right up there with cummings or Thoreau

4. Swedes don't mind naked people... in fact, more strangers have seen me naked in the past three weeks than probably my whole life combined. Go into a sauna or public shower with a suit and you get looked at as if you've walked into the Ritz with your fly down

5. Katie's sister, mom and aunt are truly amazing people. Thank you so much for letting me visit 😊

Okay. So, I left my hour glass figure at home in place of. Well. A digital clock.
