on thursday we went to bondi beach which was gorgeous, not sure why so many people say it's not a great beach, it's certainly better than any in england!! we did the coastal walk which was beautiful and was also quite amusing as there if a guy who lives on the cliff overlooking bondi, we saw his little set up he's got everything from a chair and a bunch of flowers to a bread roll on a stick! we didn't get to meet him though, he must have been out! we ended the coastal walk on a secluded beach where louis had cooked us up a great bbq and then we just chilled on the beach while the guys played vollyball and some people tried snorkeling. on friday we went to the blue mountains which was amazing, the views were incredible. my feet really hurt though because i was just wearing converse, could have done with some proper walking boots really. It was a good day and we were exhausted when we got back to the hostel. marcus our ozintro group leader came to the hostel to hang out with us and we had a little pizza party which was fun. on saturday we had a free day so we went into sydney to look around the shops (even though we couldn't really buy anything!) and had some meetings with marcus in the office to decide what we were going to do next. originally loads of people had wanted to get an apartment in sydney but marcus made them all change their minds and just go travelling straight away. Me and David were planning on still staying though. on saturday night we went out on a pub crawl which was immense. We started in a bar across the road from the hostel and then we got on the bus and the atmophere was amazing, we were all standing up and dancng on the bus and shouting aussie aussie aussie oi oi oi, it was crazy! we went to quite a few places and had a really good time. on sunday we all slept in for the first time since being here and we went and chilled on the beach. everyone was planning their east coast trip and i started getting freaked out about staying in sydney, it wasn't feeling right so last minute I changed my mind and now I'm travelling with a big group of girls up to cairns and we're working our way down the east coast to get back to sydney for christmas! Now flying to cairns on thursday and got lots planned like cape trib, mission beach, magnetic island etc. We're staying in bondi for the next few days, hopefully the weather will keep being nice!

Ozintro is ace, definately do it, especially if you are travelling on your own. dont make any plans after ozintro because you'll make lots of friends during that week and want to plan and travel with them! The only think i'd say is don't book anything through ozintro for after that first week because essentially they are booking agents and they make all their money on commission from bookings which is why the week is such good value for your money. we spent about $2,500 booking everything from cairns down to fraser and then when we started travelling we saw we were missing out on loads of discounts and deals and we could have saved alot of money but we booked through ozintro for the convienience because there were nine of us and it was a mission booking everything! But defitnately do the ozintro week it is amazing! have fun on your travels! xXx
