The students at WJ Mouatt made a beautiful banner!
A big thank you to all of the very special students at WJ Mouatt as well as the teachers that raised 4 boxes of supplies for the Pakistani earthquake victims. Galib & I visited the highschool in Abbotsford today and picked up the supplies. We are touched by all of the items that were donated: mittens, gloves, scarves, socks, tomato paste and vitamin C. These items will help so many people at the Camp as one cannot readily purchase these things in town. The current temperature at night in Camp Chitta Batta lowers to -5 degrees.

Another big thank you goes out to the Richmond Youth Service Agency who donated a significant amount of funds which will be used to purchase more supplies once we arrive in Islamabad.

Only 2 more sleeps and we being are incredible journey to Pakistan!

Thank you again WJ Mouatt & RYSA, you guys are unbelievable!

You're off!
Hey guys, it's Carman, from Mouat Secondary! I can't even express how thankful I am that there are people like you two around, doing amazing work where it is needed. The humility and excitement you have to help others is truly inspirational. Hope to hear all about Pakistan when you return. p.s. Our landmine awareness dinner was spectacular! It all came together perfectly, to my relief!
