Day 3 has me riding through the plains of Montana.

I am struck by the great ocean of grass and wheat lands. I am reminded of scuba diving, floating in the swells on top after a dive. You can see forever.. then just for a bit. Riding through the plains is like this. On top you can see forever, then you drop down into the valleys..

As the day warms I start to notice the grasshoppers, they are everywhere. Soon my bike is covered, I feel the steady tattoo against my boots. Each time I stop the bike is besieged by hungry flies and bees. A stop in Jorden for lunch, a great burger and fries.

Conversation turned to life in a small Montana town, rent for a two bedroom house, $200.00 with total utilities under that. No need to go to a third world country to live like a king… Try Montana.

Soon I find myself counting MISSLE SILOS !! I absolutely know where I am going when the Zombies come… I counted 6 as I cruse along.

I pass a Montana trooper doing 92, he just goes about his business.. I love this state! Cheap housing, missile silos, grain silos, and oil or natural gas pumps, and I can ride just as quick as I want!

The skunk I run over is not on the ‘love list'

Saftey First!
First things first Revrun Chuck... I noticed Mr Bill was not wearing any flotation device the other day while swimming. Not a good idea! You might want to think about the example you are setting for the kids. Then I hear you are riding "triple digits" around some sweeper. Again not a good idea. How do you think Jodi would feel if Mr Bill fell off and got banged up or worse? If not for Jodi, think about the kids Rev... Now today... you tell us you're hanging around missile silos, eating gut bomb burgers driving at very high speeds and Mr Bill is cleaning insect guts off of your boots - I'm not even going to address the Zombie sighting - Revrun? Silos, Bombs and Guts! Do you not see the danger in any of this? Please come to your senses my good man... think about the children! I hope you come to your senses soon Revrun Chuck and be safe out there for cryin out loud! Out of curiosity... do Zombies travel in packs, by themselves or are they generally paired up? Inquiring minds wanna know. Be well my friend and don't forget - SAFETY FIRST!
