Was lovely but it really made Niagra look like a tear drop. We spent an entire day at the Argentinian side of the falls, because it was the ¨adventurous¨ side. Our morning (Rachel from the states, kat and I ), started off by hiking the Macaco trail. Thanks to me, everyone had to go here first because i was gone-ho about seeing birds. It turned out great. The others walked in front of me while I steadfastly listened to every sound crippling in the ¨jungle¨. New birds sprang up...fluttering about, catching their daily meal. Not knowing what each birds name was, I did not care because they were COOL looking. At some point, it started to rain and it calmed the bird activity down and I walked alone in the silence of the rain drops and rustling of the leaves. It was good to be hiking alone. Alone with my thoughts and my contemplating of my adventures here in South America. It made me miss home though. I yearned for hugs from my closest friends and family.

The hike was over and so was the rain but the clouds persisted. We did not care. Hiking for 8 hrs, we finally decided we wanted to take the boat out that goes near the falls. Paying...we followed a staircase down the where the boat was. We had to take off our shoes, which i did not want to because it was FREEZING, and the water was going to make it even colder. But we took them off. Everyone aboard, we started getting closer and closer to the massive torrential downpour of this massive water gusher...fierce water dropped at ungodly speeds, drenching us from head to toe, we screamed like lil girls in excitement..our jackets, our underwaer, our jeans, our souls ALL WET and we kept screaming. It reminded me of me being a child at our amusement park, the famed ASTROWORLD....it was great! It´s incredible what nature has to offer us and it´s all at our fingertips.....SLURP! I drink to Iguazu.
