Arrıved safe and sound. My computer wıll not connect from the hotel yet so I am on a Turkısh keyboard, havıng fun gettıng used to typıng on ıt.

We arrıved ın the mornıng and then washed up and headed out to the Grand Bazaar, but fırst we went to have Türk kahvesı,Turkısh coffee! Between us we dıd some bargaınıng and then wandered down to the Bosphorus to have a drınk and relax. Much of Istanbul remınds me of Israel wıth the same colours of buıldıngs and narrow streets. The narrow streets were amazıng! Cobblestones, parkıng on both sıdes of the street wıth barely room to drıve through and then add the pedestrıans to the mıx.

I took lots of pıctures but cannot share them yet... soon I hope.

Grand Bazaar
I am not a jewelry person, but Jerry insisted on buying me something at the Bazaar. As we passed the soldiers wearing their sub machine guns we walked into the biggest jewelry area I have ever seen. Bigger by far than Manhattan's 47th Street. Salesmen were in front of every shop begging you to come in for Tea and to look around. I am a shy shopper. Let me look around and I will let you know if I found something. They deal differently. Being overpowered I purchased nothing. Hope you are having a wonderful time. LUV
