We had a lazy day reading, washing clothes, snoozing and snacking on delicious pineapple pancakes covered with honey and ice-cream. After a nap we found a resort that sold the wi-fi credits we were looking for (it cost three times as much as the same credits in Lovina! Ouch!). What’s weird is the lack of wi-fi in Bali. This is such a huge tourist hotspot and yet there are almost no wi-fi service providers. Even in Vietnam, which the rest of Asia considers to be a little backward, you can't turn around without running into a free wi-fi hotspot. Anyway...
We decided to enjoy a snack and the lovely view of the beach from the resort's restaurant. We had a Lassi (yogurt fruit shake), a pizza and tea while the sun set. Our time in Asia is rapidly coming to an end and it's very strange to think that soon we won’t be seeing these friendly faces everyday.
Today's highlights:

We had planned to go diving today, but things didn't work out so we snorkeled the Liberty wreck. As we swam towards the wreck the ocean floor
disappeared beneath us. It was a little eerie swimming into the big blue. Before reaching the wreck we found a large school of Bigeye Trevally and a few Surgeonfish, so called because of the scalpel-like blades at the base of their tail. Rumor has it that these guys can cut you with those blades, but we kinda doubt that. They've never shown any aggression toward us.
Finally the top part of the wreck appeared out of the blue. The current picked up and we drifted over the wreck taking a few pictures, but after a while we went out because the wind and the current were too strong and the waves were splashing over our snorkels.
Back home we did more washing and stayed indoors. The wind was blowing like crazy and it was unpleasant to be outside.

Sadly, today might've been our last day of diving in Asia, but we planned to make it a good one. Our first dive site was in Kubu, 10mins north-west of Tulamben. Highlights were a small Whitetip Shark that swam close to us and a school of big Double-Headed Parrotfish
feeding on the coral. They look like a bunch of grazing cows.
After lunch we battled our way on-line and managed to catch up with Leon and Melinda's blog. Scotland and Ireland look amazing!
Our second dive was at Secret Rock, a little known spot west of Kubu. It was a beautiful dive. We saw a bunch of Nudibranch we've never seen before. They were gorgeous! We also swam into a shallow cave. It was an interesting and relaxing dive.
After dinner we prepared for our first night dive. Talita's wild imagination had made it a very scary prospect for her, but in the end she decided to face her fears and do it. We dived and area known as Coral Garden. It wasn't nearly as scary as she had imagined and we had a great time. There's a whole other world that wakes up when the sun sets. We saw various crabs (one had a soft coral growing on its shell), lots of Boxer Shrimp, a Sea Spider, a Blotched Porcupinefish, Toadfish, a few Moray Eels and a swimming Nudibranch. We think it's the one they call the Spanish Dancer, but we're not sure. It was
Whitetip Shark
It looks mean for a harmless little shark a great experience and we had a blast!
Ferdi was very chuffed with Talita and to celebrate our first night dive we had tea to warm up and a beer to make it official. We've now got 49 dives logged. We're very proud.
Today's highlights:
1. Great days diving.
2. Our first night dive.
