Flight and First Day

Interesting flight out - was delayed some, but good otherwise. Pretty empty - so lots of room. And a funny thing happened - I ran into Kathy Higgins (from work, Accounting for those who don't know her). Was nice since I was really flying by myself.

The first day we took a short 20K rid to get used to the bikes. Nice ride through a forest that was created as a Jobs Program in the 1920s. Second day was a longer ride, 66K. Great weather, cool, partly cloudy - no rain.

Wonderful scenary, try to get some pictures loaded tomorrow. You would all be amazed at how many bikers there are here, they bike everywhere, people in work clothes, church clothes, women in heals, everyone. And the cars deferred to the bikes right of way.

Sounds Good
That is great you had someone to fly with. I knew kathy was going back out to be with her husband but I never even thought of the chances of her being on your flight. Sounds good that the weather is holding up and that bikes are more important than cars on the road. That is very unusual for the US.
