Field Trip Field Trip Field Trip

To the British Museum
And six monthes until my 22nd Birthday!!! Geez I feel old today. Got up early and got ready for class. I went to Foundation house to find out that my 1000a class started 30 minutes earlier! And the great thing about it was that every other person in my BLC class from SNC was late as well! I laughed! Class was alright, but then after class I went to an empty classroom to work on my final paper for history. Which all that I got completed was the research. Then, when i got done with that, i had to go on the field trip to the British Museum. It was pretty lame, well, the tour was. The British Museum was fascinating, but I have already been there a few times and have seen the things i am interested in. So, Colleen, Mike and I "got lost" and came back early. I came back did my Shakespeare paper, and then I went to Measure for Measure for class. It was a bit disturbing and i was not at all impressed. Michele and i were going to cut out at intermission, but there wasn't one! And it wasn't that great of a production

this is supposed to be an ancient representation of love...how romantic!
but oh well. When I got back, i made three cups of coffee and finished my three papers for my Shakespeare class. But I didn't work on my history paper...Oops!

Then, Tuesday! Valentine's Day, ah...Dad's Birthday and Kat, one of my roommate's 21st birthday. After class I finished ALL of my Shakespeare homework and printed it all out! After I finished then I showered and began to get ready for the night. For Dinner, we went to The Kitchen, a bit of a classy restaurant directly down our street. I had a delicious steak burger doused in garlic and herbs! It was so good. And I also had Pims!!! Then we went out to a club and because we were on the guest list we got to skip the queue. THe cover was a bit more than I expected but I drinks were only a pound so that was nice. However, all the young lads at the club were, well, quite young! So, I left at midnight and took the Tube home.

Wednesday i got up early and did some homework and went to my last Shakespeare class. Tear! We had our own little version of carnival, it

was pretty good. I came back after class to make dinner and then I realized I had a final exam the next day and hadn't done any reading/studying for that. So, I put the coffee on and began a reading!!! I was up late to say the least....

Thursday--I went to take my exam, which I really didn't remember a lot of what i studied, but I think I faired well anyway. After class I came back and since I didn't do anything on my paper on Wednesday, I wrote it all out. After I finished, I began to pack for my upcoming vacation. Then, while packing, I decided to do some laundry as well. At about 11 pm, I went back to my paper, finished up some loose ends and printed it out. It was an ok paper, but i know I could have done better if i had put more time and effort into it but, i figured, while in London, i wanted to spend as little time as possible studying. Because my grades don't really matter a whole lot here, so why bother to get an A. I also spent a lot of time worrying and packing for my vacation to the Continent. I spent a lot of hours trying to figure out what i was going to do and where i was going to go and was worried i would not understand a single thing anywhere because I only spoke English...

Friday I got up and showered. Walked to class with my paper in hand. Today, for class, we FINALLY got to go to the Cabinet War Rooms. It was so interesting and it was like being transported back in time to the 1940s. Along with the War Rooms, we were able to enter the Churchill Museum. Bascially all dedicated to Winston Churchill. A very intriguing individual, for he was only at his best during the war. But none the less, he had some great speeches and good ideas, so it was cool to see that. Also, the museum was quite interactive so that was cool too.
