Interesting
That is so strange that you met Drew's cousin in Torino! I am quite amazed that there are so many college students from the states in Europe and that you know someone who knows them...

Crazy
Hello KT Heitman. How I miss you let me count the ways! (1) I miss you walking around in your sweatpants with your hat, coat, mittens attached to your sleeves and your cup of coffee. (2) I miss hearing the echo of "Holler" in the air as you spot a sisterly Delta near by. (3) I miss you at meetings to sit next to and talk about the breeze. (4) I miss you in a Dr. Wegge class, though neither of us have him this semester. (5) Most of all I just miss your conservative enthusiasm and flare around SNC. I love your photos and your journal enteries. Keep a positive outlook, because before you know it you will be back in the Dells in WI. **PS I miss your Ducks sweatshirt!**

KT - this is so cool. Thanks for sharing. Its sound soo exciting...and its sounds like you are enjoying it. You mentioned once that it was just a mundane day...or you weren't doing much. Just enjoy every minute...I have never been out the country and all your journal entries are making me jealous...but I'm so glad you get to experience this. I just shared some pictures with cousin Mason and he said thanks for ending the last set of pictures with the horses butt! He is such a nutt!

interesting interview
Congrats on your internship! What a great experience for you. That intereview did sound a bit strange...maybe you can have the supervisor's job --haha. Since you haven't posted any blogs since 2/7, you must be pretty busy with your studies or off traveling someplace new? I'll check back in a few days...take care!

Lost in France
oui oui my little voyager, I too have been lost in très grand ville in le français. It was many many years ago when I was...how to say...jeunes et aventureux. I found my self in le Louvre separated from my travel compagnon and certain I was to meet them at le Sacre Coeur I traveled tout seul around le métropolitain city eventual realizing I was lost and alone. Given my command of la langue française you would think finding my way back to mon hôtel no problem. Bien, assez de cette charade. I have no idea how to read French! But eventually, I did find my way...to my hotel where another guest and his young family had a key that worked for my room too. How convenient. My friends soon returned and with great rejoicing they celebrated my journey. Ok, they were a little mad because the were worried about me...but they got over it with a little French wine.

Pirates!!
Your Uncle would be very proud, suppose that's who you were thinking about when you went there(Pirates of the Caribbean). Did you get some decorations for the boat. Sounds like you are having a lot of fun. Keep up the good work! Love, Aunt Peggy

BUZZ
Are you sure you were off your caffeine high after your nap?! This blog sounds like you're still up there! I'd really like to call you but I'm restraining mysself: we just got the FIRST cell phone bill through Jan 20th from Joe Budnick. On top of that we have the Verizon bill. At this rate I could fly over and talk to you as cheaply! Jon B has something called SKYPE which allows people to actually hear each other speak through their computer. On one of those days when you're bored (if that ever happens) or homesick look into that and into a calling card to use from your house phone and also the "London chip" for your cell phone. Look for a package in the mail in 5-7 days. Did youever get the quackers? If not I need to know to track them down and know if mail actually gets from here to there. Sleep well. Love, MOM
2nd February 2006

Hey KT! I finally got a chance to read your journals! :( I've been busy with house "stuff" and making the basement look "nice" LOL. Anyways, I hope all is well with you there in London! I kinda miss fighting with you so HURRY home. :) I'm just kidding. I wish I could go on a trip to London or wherever sometime with ya ( we should plan a trip sometime). Don't worry about being home sick cause here at home is not much better... TRUST me! Mom and dad get on my nerves sometimes. Good luck with your studies and pick me up some HOT men K? K! Well, Email me sometime (Rabbitgrl3369@yahoo.com). Love ya sis. Talk to ya soon! MUAH!

Days
I'm sorry to hear that you are homesick so soon. I remember feeling that way as well. When you do, remember that the time will fly by and before you know it you'll be coming home to the "same ol', same ol" here. I'm glad that you are going places by yourself when others aren't interested in doing things you like and with others from SNC and those you are meeting through classes and travels. Keep doing what you feel like doing! Enjoy your quiet days as the busy ones sound really busy! I'm hoping you will get a letter for Valentines Day, but I'm not sure of the mail. Did you ever get the package with the quackers? I lose track of the days. I'm thinking that your interview re: your internship is tomorrow morning? God bless that meeting. You'll be great. Call us when you get back to London from your trip to Paris. Love, Mom
