On route from Taiping to Penang I was spied and kidnapped by the cyclist thief, David. He is an avid collector of cyclists and had already captured a Dutch couple the day before. Later that day he also captured a couple from Wigan, Jan and John...It was a good week for him. David's hospitality was astounding. He allowed us all to stay in his home free of charge and his wife cooked us a fantastic Indian vegetarian (on my account) evening meal and breakfast the next day.

Chinese Hell!Chinese Hell!
Chinese Hell!

One of the many many sites that David brought us to see was a Chinese temple. It was more reminiscent of a funfair rather then a place of worship. The picture shown was part of an underground 'route through hell' that you could peruse at your own leisure!
