Andy went to work, again. I got rung by Select for an extra hour on Wednesday, and got a great report back from the centre, but nothing for today. So whilst Andy was working hard I went and had a look around the metro and read my book in the park. I ordered the flowers on behalf of Dad and Anna for Gwilym and Sue for having and looking after us so well. That evening we wrote a couple of stories for competitions in the free backpacking magazines. Andy wrote one about his first day at work and I wrote one about the day we sold our van and it wouldn't start! Also dad rung and we phoned Anna.
Later in the night Andy, Gaynor, Megan and I all baked some double chocolate muffins, very nice.

Work, chilled.

01.02.06 FEBRUARY ALREADY!!
We both went to work today and I ended up working all day with the pre-schoolers. Andy had a bad day as it was roasting and he was working with an Irish guy who he couldn't understand and he couldn't understand Andy!
After dinner Andy rung his nephew Joshua to wish him a happy 8th birthday whilst Sue guided me through how to make pate. We then went over the road to the pub for a couple.

Another hot day, Andy went to work whilst I did housey things like washing and I baked muffins and cookies.
That evening Megan left as she had found a place to stay. It was sad to see her leave, but we had decided we would be off on Saturday too.
That night Andy and I walked (a long way) to the Broadway cinema to see Munich. Of course I got us in for 2 students (without a student card) and we bought our food from K-mart and smuggled it in, saving a fortune! It was a really good film, would reccomend it.

Andy's last day at work!! That morning the flowers for Gwilym and Sue, even though they were meant for the afternoon and Gwilym's name was spelt wrong! So not happy. Anyway I went to work at Redfern for half a day, with the babies. After work Andy and I went to the flower shop to express our dissatisfaction and got a $25 voucher, so bit of a result! We gave that to Sue

We set off with just a bag each, now we are like a couple of mules, loaded up!
aswell. They were really pleased and thought it and the flowers were a lovely thankyou. We went to the Metro to get ingredients for the meal we were cooking for our final supper. Under my instruction we cooked a wonderful meal. We had peppered steak and tagaleteli for main and a maple and walnut tart for afters. The tart was difficult but it was lovely, Sue was really impressed which meant a lot as she is such a good cook.

Got woken up by dad calling us and got greeted by some wicked waffles for breakfast. mmmmmm.
We packed our stuff and made up lunch and snacks for the 17 hour train journey ahead. We took left over tart and pasta for dinner the next day.
We said our goodbyes and got a lovely blessing from Gwilym to keep us safe.
So after our inteneded few day stay, we were finally leaving (the best accommodation Sydney could offer) 35 days later!!!!! Off we headed loaded up, like a couple of mules, into town to catch our train to Broken Hill in the outback. (the furthest you can go in NSW)
