The day had arrived! Margaret and i stayed in bed for as long as possible so that we werent having to wait around for the imminent bungy! We were excited but rather nervous!

We checked in at the station (did not appreciate having my weight scrawled in big red pen on my hand!) then we were off on a very bumpy journey up a very scary, ridiculously steep road to the Bungy centre. Honestly thought I was going to die and i hadnt even reached the nimgy yet! There was pumping music playing but everybody was SILENT! Im so glad i dragged Margaret into doing the bungy with me, couldnt have done it on my own!

We were harnessed in then wandered over to the viewing platform thing; the bungy is suspended over a huage canyon and you are delivered to the wee pod by a little gondola of sorts. Some people were scared on there, lord knows how they jumped! :S

Thankfully didnt have too long to wait until i was sat in the chair having my ankles strapped and attached.
By this point i was most definitely scared! I was TERRFIFIED! i had to look up at the camera n video n well, the pictures r quite funny :-) Then they stand you up and you wobble over to the tiny wee ledge, theres a reassuring hand on your back guiding. I saw its reassuring, in the next ten seconds its helping you push you off the edge but anyway. I knew that if i looked down i might have a panic attack so i kinda looked across and down.

Then theres the final check of straps and 5.4.3.2.1. Go. And you listen. And you jump. And then its like wooooooooo! The first maybe half second you are unbelievably scared but then you are on top of the world. Its 8.5 secs free fall but that goes sooo quick. you lose all sense of whether your going up or down and sense of time. But its jus brilliant. the change in emotion in like 2 seconds is unreal! Biggest adrenaline rush like ever.

Once you're at the top of your second bounch, u have a tie at your calf that u can pull to release ur foot, it took me a few attempts to manage it but got there eventuyallly. Then i was sat upright and i was like OMG that was siiiick! I was breathing so fast. then hey winch u back up which was a bit scary but u got to have a proper look around. I couldnt actually stand up when i got back up there, had to sit down pronto, soo much adrenaline! But it was brilliant!

Couple of guys after me had major issues jumping, one guy was on the edge n he was like wait i need to think about this for a minute! No you dont mate, jus go. if you hang around, u jus wouldnt go! then he goes i need a cigarette! lol haha but he managed.

Ah jus the best day! We celebrated with Fergburgers and fudge later. woooop.
