Welcome to our journey.
Up early and left for Auckland at 10.30am, flew out at 5.55pm, in the air for 11hrs 55mins - boring, snoring and worse.
Arrived in L.A at 10.20am and then its out to the Transfer standwhere we are met by the original nutter who drove the shuttle at 75mph in a 65mph zaone the hole time texting and talking to his girlfriend on his mobile - we were pleased to get out.
Accommodation at the Knottsberry Farm resort Hotel - don't stay there, we stayed there when it was the Beuna park Hotel 18 years ago, the only thing that has changed is the name.
Driving into Beuna park we saw the greatest sign "Fabulous Fords Forever" eat your heart out Merv, had to go back and have a look at the real thing - no Holdens to be seen
Mexican for dinner and then an early night- tired
