We spent a few too many nights in Bangkok on Khao San Rd. Bangkok is nice but only for a few nights. We visited the Royal Palace and the laying buddha which was massive. Khao San Rd was great - heaps of markets and food places. We had the best pad thai that we have ever had and it was only 25 baht, $1, you cant beat that. We left the tour group here and headed for Chiang Mai. When we got back to Bangkok we met up with Deon and Patrick.
