Hey people!! Not a lot of time - been doing sooo much over the past few days its been awesome!! Wish I could explain in more detail, but I need to get away and help plan the next few days going down the Garden Route!!

Lie-in today, had brekkie, then we wrote postcards and diaries :p headed down to Long Street to see it, we ended up having coffee at a lovely place on Church St market, called Cafe Mozart :p saw the African Woman's market, bumped into a few Lattitude folk!! Was awesome so see them again, didn't think I'd get to see Alice again. Went past Carnival Court and bumped in to Leonard again by chance. Saw one of the kool bookshops, and went to Company Gardens to plan our travels. Realised we didn't have half the stuff with us ,so after grandad got a cigar and I got ice-cream, I came on here and they headed back to the hotel. Malay meal tonight hopefully!!

After I was last on (2nd) I wandered to the Company Gardens, and Caroline called :D was awesome to speak to her, nice to hear a Scottish voice again :p went back to the hotel and a few mins later G&G arrived!! It was soooo awesome to see them again, surreal at first!! We chilled and chatted a bit, then got the shuttle bus to the Waterfront for fish n'chips and a coffee. They were impressed by the waterfront me thinks :p getting some more photos on facebook the now. We went back to the hotel after buying jazz fest tickets :D and Roy called and mum called and their luggage came just in time!! Then we went to sleep, was AWESOME to sleep in a nice bed again!!

Woke up late-ish on the Fri (we have curtains!!) went to the gym, then had the awesome buffet, I feel like I'm in heaven eating there compared to what I've been used to!! The gym was kool, small, but you got what you need there. Leonard called to say he had the plane, so we got a shuttle to the airport and got him - was good to see him again!! We went up, I was in the co-pilots seat, and we went round Cape Point, through some winelands and back. Stopped at a little airport on the way. Was so kool to see Cape Point from an ariel view!! He let me fly it for a bit too, was giving me tips. Was one of the koolest things I've ever done, by far!! G&G loved it too :D went back and got a sandwich and tried to get Leonard a ticket for the jazz fest but they'd sold out 😞 I tried so hard as well!! Leonard came round and we went to a pizza place for dinner, I had a crazy desert pizza :p tried to get Leonard over the fency to the jazz fest but there was too many security folk. He left, I went in and it was so awesome!! 5 different stages, 3 indoor 2 outdoor, no-where near as hectic as t in the park or reading, was nice, I easily walked to the front for Goldfish (new favourite band out here) :p it was magic. They're an electronicy, dancy band, one member also plays double bass and piano and the other saxophone and flute and they got a couple good singers that they hoy in every so often. Amazing. Saw a band called Zap Mama who were amazng. Went back and slept!!

Nice late-ish start on Sat - got the sight-seeing bus to the District 6 museum and Table Mountain. District 6 was kool, spoke personally to one of the guys who had been evicted from his home this time, was really special. He was half Indian, half Scottish!! Had a coffee, spoke so someone who knew about Stirling Cuuntry rugby club, then got the bus to Table Mountain after speaking to a random guy while we waited :p Cable Car was awesome, not too much of a queue, and we looked around the top for a bit and saw some stunning views - perfect weather for it that day. I got my irish coffee, finally!! Granny bought postcards then we got the car back down. Got the bus back to the hotel, I swam a bit, then we all went to the jazz festival!! Saw the Cape Town Jazz orchestra, was awesome, seriously talented musicians there. Saw some other folk, G&G enjoyed immensely!! Dancing about and everything :p we saw Kyle Easdtwoods band, Clint Eastwood's son, and Clint Eastwood himself turned up!! Was so kool, but a shame cuz it detracted the attention from his son's band. He only stayed for like a song or 2 though. G&G left and I stayed and saw Mos Def, he was good, late though. I made friends witch a guy called Sean, was good to have company. Spoke to Roy on the phone 😊 then went to bed.

Sun - got up early for Robben Island!! The ferry was nice, but cold on the back deck. Was v interesting, the guides were ex-prisoners. Was talking to one of them, I thought it must have been so hard to come back and work there, but he said it was actually theraputic. Saw Nelson Mandela's cell, and the penguin boardwalk :p and got juuuuice from the gift shop (fanta grape - oh yes.) Got the ferry back, was better weather, nicer to go outside!! Got the bus to Kirstinbosch gardens, after getting food from pick n' pay and nearly missing the bus :p the guide on the bus was kool, was chatting to him about random stuff. Got to Kirsintbosch, saw parts of the garden I've not seen before!! We sat and had our picnic, wandered around, and had a coffee (milo for me) was nice. Nearly got lost on the way bak up to the bus stop :p and got the long bus ride back to the hotel, saw some stunning views of Lion's Head, with cloud cover!! Got a shower, spoke to maw, and met Leonard again and we all had the buffet at the hotel. Was nice, the meat was sooo hard to cut though!! Me and Leonard went back to Carnival Court, it was nice to see the place again!! He drove me back, then I went straight so sleep, was shattered!!

Hope to get online at somepoint in the next week!! Lovelove xxxxxx
