Union River - Ellsworth
Union River Ellsworth - The home we are leaving for the adventure ahead.Lily Says:
"We had our last day of school today. It is sad because I am leaving, and I am getting use to life's changes. At school, my friends gave me little gifts and said 'Good bye. I will miss you.' I am looking forward to having a good time on our trip."
Austin Says:
"Today is my last day of school. I am going to miss all of my friends and teachers that I've had over the years in Ellsworth. It has been nice knowing so many people for so long. At school, my friends gave me cards and a cake. It will be hard leaving my friends here, but I know I am going to make a bunch of new friends in the future.
On Saturday, we are going to finish packing up our house and will say our last good byes to friends, furniture, my bedroom, and my life long home.
Our first stop is Portland, Maine. Next we will go to Boston to my grandparents house where we get a flight to Athens. I am nervous and excited at the same time about all the new things, people, and places that I will see. I am glad that I am getting such opportunities about people, culture, and different ways of life."
Jon and Steph say:
"40 degrees and raining today. Unemployed. Sitting in a messy house. Time to go travel........"
