A wonderful fountain in the town centre
Our time in Milan was coming to an end on our third day of travelling, but as a bunch of tourists, there's always a hell of a lot to do! Even if this turned out to be another lazy day walking around the city and stopping for food and drink, the sites were still magnificent. We would often head back to the centre of the town towards the Duomo as it was such a wonderful scene to behold. This was where all the magic happened, where we spent a lot of time relaxing. Today was also an important day as Turkey were playing Croatia and as the match descended into stoppage time the atmosphere in out hotel/hostel was tense. As Turkey prevailed after penalties once again coming back from behind we decided to celebrate and go out to a few bars and followed by an Italian night club!! This provided a problem as we had no idea where the clubs were, but were told that if we followed the directions we were given we couldn't miss them. We took no chances and took a taxi to where we were told, but found there was nothing that resembled anything of the sort.

Jasper and Ben could pose for any occasion!
In short the staff had totally lead us astray and we couldn’t believe it! Having found this out, we got back into a taxi in disgust and asked to be taken to the nearest club! This was a far safer bet and after a fun night of dancing and drinking we headed back. The photos provide a visual summary of our day.

Clubs
What did you think of the Italian club in comparison to clubs in the UK and Turkey?

Clubs in Milan
I thought the club we ended up at was great, the music was conventional which provided some familiarity! I was impressed that there was no forceful tipping at the bar as they have in the Czech Republic!! I think its disgraceful to not accept a tip and ask for more as they did in Prague! Did you go to any Chinese clubs in your trip in the summer? Hakan
