Hi Everyone!

I made it back home safe and sound on Tuesday night. My bus trip from La Joya to San Pedro went well on Monday, and I made it to the hostel in time to have dinner at Baleada Express! That was a great last meal! I also had some conversations with other travelers at the hostel. A couple were from the Netherlands, another from Italy and another from Germany. I loved it when three of us where speaking in Spanish and it wasn't the first language for any of us.

It was also lovely to be back in San Pedro. It was green and cooler, and my taxi driver was so nice! He took me from the bus station to the hostel and then picked me up again in the morning to take me to the airport.

Everything went perfectly well with my flights and luggage, but it was a bit sad to arrive to rain and cold in Detroit! I'm adjusting to being back pretty well and I'm glad we're transitioning into Spring now! I think more than anything I just miss doing ministry. This summer I'm working at a camp for inner-city kids from Detroit, so I'm eager for that to start up in June!

Here are a few more photos of the people and places in La MontaƱa de Flor (The flower mountain) near La Joya were I went with the medical brigade.

Hola
April, Thanks for posting this. It's always great to read your entries and see the pix you post from Honduras. I pray that God is using you in a mighty way at the summer camp. Josh Price is working as a counselor this summer too. This Saturday night is our mega-reunion for Honduras with the Bullocks. How we wish you could come!!!!!!!!!! Kristen leaves Tuesday so she won't get to come either. But we had her and her brothers over Friday for a great time. <3 and prayers, Solana
