Wow.
This is absolutely A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
This is the most amazing set of waterfalls I have ever seen. Sitting in an office, I would never have thought something this beautiful can exist.

I went to the falls very early in the morning, with a nice Canadian girl, Susan. We were the first to get there when the National Park opened. The park is absolutely beautiful - not just for the waterfalls, of course that´s the main attraction - but it´s really deep jungle ... and you can see raccoon bear type animals, butterflies of all colours, dragonflies, frogs and iguanas. Really entertaining. And the sound of the crickets in the jungle mixed with the thundering sound of the falls which you can hear from everywhere ... wow.

We went on the big circuit first, which lets you see the falls from abover. You walk right over the many falls, and can see how the water flows gently to the edge of the cliff, and then rush down and splash onto the water at the bottom with sounds like thunder. Then you do the smaller circuit, which lets you see the falls from the halfway height ... which is splendid as you can see how the water falls. Truly impressive.

The we took a boat across to an island and you see the second biggest falls. Up till then, this was my favourite part. I even made a video, since pictures don´t do it justice. But it just gets better. We took an adventure boat ride, which takes you under a small fall, and just when we thought that was the biggest rip-off, the skipper took us under that second biggest fall. UNDER IT! We could feel the water falling on our heads, and we were drenched. I kept saying wow, since you can see how the water falls down, from underneath. I swallowed some Iguazu Fall. :-)
That was 75 pesos well spent.

We then took a train to the Devil´s throat. Now that really is the icing on the cake. The grand finale. The mother of all waterfalls. The reason why falls exist.

It is so amazing, you just have to look at the photos.

Tomorrow I will take a bus to Salta, and I can´t wait to get there, since I got some good tips from Susan, and everyone keeps saying how beautiful it is. The bus ride will take 23 hours. Yes, TWENTY-THREE HOURS (!!!!!)

Weather for the day: wonderful, as always .. hot hot hot and humid ... just the way it should be.
