I just got back from a wonderful overnight trip to the Sunshine Coast with my roommates and what an adventure we had. We left on Friday around 5pm and arrived at our hostel around 9pm. We checked in at the bar because the reception area was closed and then we went to our room….oh man. This was the grossest thing any of us had ever stayed in, there were people in our room (because we booked a dorm room with 6 people when there were actually 7 beds) who scattered like cockroaches when we opened the door and there was a suspicious stain on one of the beds. We didn’t want to touch anything so we decided to have a drink and then head to the hostel bar. This bar was like a high school dance that supplied A LOT of alcohol to all of its students, I’m not old and none of my roommates are old either but we sure felt like it at that bar.(And Mom you’ll be happy to know that I didn’t drink. At all) After awhile we’d had enough and decided at midnight to walk to the beach. It was so beautiful and warm outside, we
stayed at the beach for a while and then reluctantly headed back to the hostel to try to get some much needed sleep. Of course we didn’t actually get much sleep because we didn’t want to lay in any of the beds but around 3am we couldn’t stay awake much longer and finally fell asleep. At 6am I woke up and could no longer handle the hostel so I woke up the rest of my roommates and we got the hell out of there. We ate breakfast and then headed to the beach. We got to Noosa Beach at around 9 am and stayed until around noon, we then all needed food again so we left to get lunch and then we went to another beach called Sunshine Beach. These beaches we WONDERFUL! The water was warm and clear and the sun was around all day, which I suppose is a little unfortunate because we are all very burnt now but needless to say we all had a wonderful time together. I’m posting lots of pictures of our journey.

So I didn't want to leave a comment on the facebook pictures you posted since other people were tagged in them but so gross. That stain was disgusting. I was wondering if any of you slept there but I know you better than that. Otherwise you'd probably have herpes now. Or the clap. Or both. Anyway, your roommates all look like so much fun. I'm so glad to hear you're having such a good time. I just wish I could come visit and meet everyone.
