Its being a while since I have updated this, so I have a lot to fill everyone in on! But first, I have to say that I forgot to write a major thing about Ko Samui! My friend Shoshana wanted to go to the shooting range on the island! so she dragged me alone and it was great! it was the first gun I have ever fired, and I had a blast! And to top it off I didn't hurt anyone! We took turns, on a 22 pistol and a 22 sniper.

So now on to Ko Pha-Ngan...
We got there not really knowing to expect. When we were on the boat there were people trying to convince us to go to there Accom... as you expect... I ended up going for a Air con room, with a warm shower, nice soft bed.... and it was really cheap because no one is going there at the moment, so it was half price! It made the stay even more enjoyable!
When I first got on the Island, I didn't really think it was that nice. A small town, that's like a maze! and very hard to get around! But then we decided to go in the other direction, and found a magnificent drive filled with the steepest hills, running around the island next to the sea. I was lost for words! when I got to a little fishing village I told Shoshana to go for a drive after teaching her to drive a scooter earlier that day, when we met back up, after a lot of worry on my behalf thinking she had crashed, we both had seen the same restraint on our adventures! we decided to get some dinner there! It had fresh seafood cooked on the BBQ, that you got to pick out yourself. and it was one of the best squid I have ever had! I doubt I will ever get squid cooked to perfection like that ever again!
I have only ever heard about Ko Pha-Ngan in regards to the Full Moon Party, But it has so much more to offer! Its defiantly on my list to go back too!

The next day we traveled to Ko Tao. Its one of the most talked about places in Thailand when it comes to Scuba Diving/snorkeling. Its also known for its Trail Bike Tracks. In fact in the lonely planet it is said, only experienced riders should have a go. Everyone else stay away....
well im sure you can all imagine, I had to give it a go! I may no be experienced nor was I on a trail bike, but I took my scooter we named Run-away, and gave it a go!
At first I was still teaching Shoshana how to ride a Manual Scooter, and as we found out these tracks can not be done on a scooter with two people on it! so the next day I set off to take on the Mountains of Ko Tao! I got to the second last decent into Mango Bay when things turned a bit....scary! Half way down the Extreamly steep decent the brakes decided to work, there were too many rocks and the hill was too steep. I had no control what so ever! just as I was about to come off going around 30 km/h I managed to swing my leg over and stand next to the bike, when I say stand, I more mean slip down the hill, still holding on to the bike.....I was less worried about my safety, and more worried about the fact it would cast thousands of Baht, which I could not afford what so ever! I still couldnt stop the bike, as i could only use the front brakes. which are useless on those scooters! But just as I was about to loose control I managed to the bike around and stop it! After a while of deep breathing, I got to the bottom of the hill and saw an even steeper hill..... I decided it was about time to turn around and head home!
That evening we went for a ride, and got destracted by a place with a big screen playing Thai Boxing..... We decided to stay for a drink, and ended up talked into having dinner! which i have to say was I good decision! The place we stayed was a BBQ restraunt where you cook your own meal! and it was delicious! Mum, you would have loved this place! They Wouldnt stop trying to give you more! In the end I was so full, It took an hour before we could even get back on the scooters to ride back to the place we were staying!
The next day we went snorkeling, as every one dose one Ko Tao! It was fun, we saw some reef sharks, but all the coral was dead, so a bit disappointing! But still worth the money!
