I am officially a gringo....

After spending what seems like forever stuck in airports (Auckland, Buenos Aires, Santiago!!) we have finally arrived in Peru!!!

We were met in Lima by Maga´s mum, dad, brother and grandma, as well as some local kids who found us ´gringos´very interesting and started waving and knocking on the cafe window as we were having a coffee!! I think Rob´s hair was the highlight...

Maga coúldn´t wait to eat her favourite Peruvian meal Ceviche, so as soon as we left the airport we went to an awesome restaurant for lunch. On the way Rob and I got to experience the crazy Lima traffic! Road rules? There are no road rules! I was also amazed at the amount of people on the streets - people walking along the road, hanging out by the road, waiting for buses, selling stuff on in the middle of traffic!!

The rest of the day we spent taking a little tour of Lima, and visiting some of Maga´s other relatives. Who are all so nice!!! Very welcoming.
