These two are on the side of one of the schools right by my, they kind of go together and are pretty cool.
I've started class, and haven't been taking as many pictures because of it. Unfortunately class means that I'm not out there seeing as much of the city, but I'm still learning and meeting people. Our class is moved for this first week to another location that's farther away from me. I have to walk for 20-30 minutes to get there, as opposed to the 15 it would take for the normal building. We'll return after a week to the original building which will be a nice change. Out current position is in a major school area, which means during lunch we see plenty of students around, and also means there are plenty of places to eat. The food is great though. I've had burgers at this one place twice, and shared an onion pizza, which I even liked. Spanish is still difficult to pick up, especially now that I'm in a room talking English to people for seven hours a day. The people are nice though, mainly my age, and mainly from the west coast. There's 20 of us including 4 from England, on from Canada, a couple from the east coast, me from the midwest, and the rest from the

Again, by the other one. There was also a lot of cool stenciling, but since I walk during rush hour I couldn't get a picture.
west coast. We had a good down pour yesterday as I was leaving school, which the weather report forgot to warn us about, so I ran home in the rain and received my first splash from a taxi. It was pretty bad, but I was so wet all ready it didn't make much of a difference. I also had my first real clothes shopping experience. I got Marisa a dress that I saw in a store window- window shopping is key here. But when I talked to the clerk, she said there were two sizes, one and two. Size one was explained to me as being for the skinny and size two for the fat. It was quite strange, but interesting. I'll probably add a photo of where the school is at right now to this blog tomorrow, so come back and check if you'd like to see it.

They say we are on the third floor, but it's a lie. Also they are ridiculously creaky and lean in towards the middle.

Not sure what this is, but it's across from the dog park. These buildings seem to pop up everywhere.

At least for the next day. This one is much prettier than the other though.

Slander!
Don't slander Argentina just cause the rest of the world labels the first floor as the ground floor and starts counting AFTER that, ha. I'm glad you're eating burgers and pizza, such intense cultural immersion!
