We FINALLY Made It!

Let me stress the *FINALLY* again!

So I made it, after almost missing my flight from L.A. The flight was ridiculously long! I fell asleep for what I felt was the majority of the near 14 hour flight, but when I woke up... there was still 6 hours left! I met a nice girl from Ontario on the plane and she moved to Adelaide to go to school and be with her boyfriend. She told me that I have to travel a lot, sorry mom & dad! She also told me that Sydney is one of the most expensive cities in the world! GRRREEAATT!

Once we arrived in Sydney, we waited about 2.5 hours in the line for customs & security. Oh well, we made it. One guy actually got sniffed out by a quarantine dog because he had a McDonald's cheeseburger in his carry on that he had forgotten about! HILARIOUS!

We totally got shafted by the dodgy bus driver. It ended up costing us each $21 for the ride to our apartment complex... but he didn't even drop us off at the right place! What a jerk. We totally got taken as tourists!! Later on in our meeting with CAPA, we found out that Aussie's aren't much for customer service... a lesson that we had already learned, the hard way!

Our apartments are really nice. I'll post pictures once I get them loaded to the computer! Very modern and only 2 years old!! Not to mention a great view of a golf course!

We have done a lot of walking today, but I have to run now because the stores close sooooo early! 5pm!! Gotta get a blowdryer and hangers!
