The farm Mark lived on while doing his Farming course when he was 17 - a long long long long time ago haha Hey! Just a quick update! It was Mark's birthday on Wednesday, he has been working nights though so he slept til about noon, I got him tickets to see Crusty Demons - a bike show, daredevil kind of thing - in Feb. in Auckland! We just puttered around the house and went to town to renew his car insurance stuff - a little different than just renewing our license plate stickers, and then looked at vinyl for the bathroom and kitchen. I went to work with him in the truck and we had a pretty good time, until this grumpy man yelled at him over the radio! He had pulled out onto the road and there was this truck coming but he was a ways away, plus Mark's truck was empty and it can really giver so its not like the other truck would have even had to break at all but he came on cursing and swearing over the radio! Mark was so calm and handled it very well! I would have been crying! man these truckers can be nasty! I think he needed a hug lol. Also Mark put in the wrong pin # on his gas card three

Rob & Di, his "other" parents that he lived with on the farm. Very cool people times and got locked out so we had to wait around at midnight at the gas station for another one of their trucks to come by and we could use his card lol oh dear! Mark got to have an hours nap though so that was good, after that I tried to sleep in the back of the cab but just kept bouncing around and turning the bouncing into nightmares about the truck going off a cliff etc! So I started to not feel well cause I was just so tired and couldn't sleep! I could never be a trucker! We got home at 8 AM!!! He started at 5:30 pm the day before! And then slept til 3 pm....Yup, I definitely could never get used to working those kind of hours! But good news is that the resume I mailed out for him, got him a call back about another driving job, more local and just during the week with regular hours and probably better pay! The guy called and was so bummed cause he had already hired a guy but that guy was on trial and he got mark's resume the very next day after he hired the

Our bed in the "boot" of the Subaru!!!! We put the couch cushions in the back and it was real cozy! We did that for new years too! other guy....anyway like I said, the other guy is on trial and sounds like he might not cut it and Mark is going to get a call at the end of it all. The guy was real interested cause of Mark's experience. AND I went for that interview at the little cafe in Oakura - its called Snickerdoodle - and it was the weirdest interview haha. She was just so out of it and not prepared! Even when I asked what they were looking for cause it is only part time, she was so vague - oh part time, maybe turn into full time, or not at all blah blah and when I asked how much the starting pay was she didn't know and asked if I would like her to find out! Well, YEAH??!?! so anyway, I am going in for a trial run on Tuesday to see if I like it, basically just sell muffins and baked goods and learn how to make fancy coffee! I may end up working 4 days on, 3 off, so every other weekend off which will be fine cause Mark will just go riding on the weekends I am working 😊 and

How great is that! so out by 5 by the time things are closed and cleaned up! Anyway, I think I will like it for now! It is a really cute cafe, I will have to take pics!
My garden is growing very well! The damn cat still gets into it though so we will have to put a gate around it!! Grrrrrrrr! Oh and tomorrow we are going to look at puppies!!!!! little Maltese/Sydney Silkie crosses!!!! So cute, 9 week old boys and we may just get one and bring him home! We will see!
Other than that, just baked some chocolate chip cookies today, called around trying to find a hair dresser nearby, did some laundry, cleaned the bathroom and just about ready to go read my book in the suN! Mark will probably sleep until 3 pm as he was not home until 7 am this morning! Then I think we are going to cut the grass and do some weeding etc!!! I'm loving it here, and loving
