I can’t believe it's almost time to get this show on the road. Kay knows that I’ve had itchy feet for so long now. Itchy hobbit feet since June 2008! All I talk about is this trip. Every normal conversation usually ends up with us talking about this trip. Jit we seriously have no life! And to be honest I'm sick of talking about it. I just want to go already. Ditto. We’ve planned so much it honestly feels like we’ve been already. It kind of hit me when Kay said to me the other day that we leave NEXT MONTH and I stood back and thought “oh ****”. About time you actually realised this is happening. I am constantly getting the butterflies and at the moment it is more a nervous feeling than excitement but at least I am feeling something!

We really don’t have much to do now. Just the nitty gritty stuff to sort out that, to be honest if it didn’t get done then it wouldn’t be the end of the world. Oh yes it would be. Everything to me feels like it is half done, not one thing is complete. I know come February 16th (the night before we go) we will be stressing about something! Bags have been packed. No they haven’t! We’ve tested our new camera but have yet to dunk the bad boy into some water to see if it is in-fact waterproof. Though Sangs (Jit’s Sister) did volunteer.

Christmas and New Years was fun, just the usual faff really, apart from the great new edition to the family, Neha (my brothers daughter), who was born 12.06am on Boxing Day. She is absolutely tiny but gorgeous; she puts the world to rights.

The excitement mounts. Kay dribbles quite a bit thinking about all the food she is going to devour and I think about all the fit women I will get to see in bikini’s (ohhhh yea), nah I'm kidding. Real truth, yes Jit is looking forward to the bikini clad he-shes’ but I am not only looking forward to the food, but the weather, culture, adventure - but the food tops the bill! Kay does seem to have quite a few panic attacks about the strangest things, for example, “What if when we are in Fiji and get stranded on a deserted island with only a computer which requires us to input some numbers every 90 minutes (previously on LOST)….okay that conversation didn’t really happen, but you catch my drift. Oh be quiet! Seriously though, the excitement is hard to put into words and the occasional burst of butterflies is unbelievable. I mean it feels worse than the first time you held hands or kissed the opposite sex (I know there’s loads of you who scanned through this and saw the word sex and decided to read that paragraph - sorry to disappoint!) Ha Ha!

6 weeks and counting. I'm sure there are people out there who are thinking “just go already” because we have seriously chewed some ears in the past 8-9 months. We apologise, but come on do you blame us; we are going on a WORLD TOUR, nuh nuh nuh n-nuh nuhhhhhhhh! Forgive him, he can’t help his behaviour.
