Olivia, BLake, Sophie and the cake
The last three weeks have flown by and we a finding it hard to think about going home to warm weather, strawberries and BBQ's. But tomorrow we hop on the plane and head for New Zealand.

After leaving Meera and Kjelds we headed for the Jones up near Bolton. Debbie and Jonathon have a beautiful home out of town and the boys loved it. The really enjoyed playing with Sophie and Olivia too. They pulled the ice from the pond and made a path from it so they could slide down on it. We watched the girls jump their horse Bitsy. I got to watch Olivia play netball - she's pretty good. We went christmas carolling and ate delicious home cooked meals. The boys weren't happy about leaving.

Blake had his 7th birthday there. We had a roast lunch and for supper there was an enormous chocolate cake sandwiched together with cream.

We spent the last week of our trip with Sally, Jos and Ben on their farm in Horton-in-Craven which is near Skipton in Yorkshire. We all went skiing in Manchester, go carting, golfing and to a pantomine. Mason and Jos had a few races down the

Skiing in Manchester - Mason is the one heading straight down the slope.
slope in Manchester - Mason won that because he doesn't do stopping on the skis and then Jos won the go carting (easily). Mason found his go carting trophies in Bens room later in the week. The decider will be at later date in NZ.

Xmas day was cold and dark but no snow. We had a delicious breakfast courtesy of Jos then Sally and I made xmas dinner. We only had two meals but that was plenty!!! Turkey, roast beef and vegies followed by homemade ice cream, pav, chocolate bread and butter pudding and jelly. The lounge was covered in wrapping paper and we lost count of who gave what to whom.

We are now back with CLare - where we started our trip. The boys have been to the park and fed the squirrels for the last time. Tonight we'll go for a wander around Winter Wonderland. Then tomorrow morning we head to the airport. Our trip has come to an end - it has been fantastic and we have hundreds of stories to tell.
