We have finally made it to Adelaide after just a few flights . . . 12 hours to Singapore where we had a 25 minute stop while they refuelled and cleaned the plane and then 6 hours 30 minutes from Singapore to Melbourne, which brought us to the final flight of our journey to Adelaide, a pleasant 1 hour 5 minute away!! So with stops in between we had been on the go for over 21 hours. We had a lovely welcome as we arrived off the plane which was a lovely surprise.
We have spent the rest of the day unpacking and getting some supplies in. . oh and desperately fighting to stay awake as we try and ride the day out till bedtime. Its now 7.50pm and Ade is doing a fantastic nodding dog impression at least every 30 seconds!
The weather is great - at 35 degrees today and more good weather expected for the rest of the week.
We went on a short work early evening to again fight the sleep.
Off tomorrow to start confirming some of the wedding things and see more sites.
