Yesterday afternoon, we walked around with our German friends from class and made it over to the famous Ricoleta Cemetery. It met all of our expetations in terms of crumbling brick walls, broken tombs, long lines to see Eva Peron, and a somber air. One thing that surpised us though...the enormous population of cemetary cats...with great personalities too. Here are some of our favorites.

(Oh, and tomorrow we bike around the city to explore a bit more. Bikers are common and drivers seem to be aware them.)

Taking a break, not used to hot weather...but still loving it.

I will stop with this one, although we have an fairly large number of cemetery cat photos now. It felt strange taking pictures of ancient graves, but taking pictures of cats seemed to make it feel less weird. Although... now that I see this large number of cat photos, it still seems strange. But I had to show you.

Miss you!
Thanks for keeping us posted. I love looking at your pictures. Hope you are both enjoying your trip. Laura, winter is not the same with out you. I missed you several times last week...and it's no fun to drink coffee and bailey's by yourself! We drove by our old apartment and sitting on the couch and watching everyone slide down the hill on snowy days. Sorry, this was not about your trip....I really am excited for both of you! I'm sure by now Laura is kicking Mark's ass at chess....
