We've had a rough month preparing for this trip, but finally...we're mostly ready. 😊 The only left for us now is to disassemble the bikes and get them ready for the plane to Buenos Aires tomorrow! And perhaps pack a few turkey sandwiches.

Thanks for everyone's help getting ready, whether you stored some of our stuff or gave us travel bottles for soap...it is appreciated. Nothing major to report yet, but will post a few photos to document the beginnings of our trip. Tonight: Kenosha. Tomorrow: Buenos Aires.

Just a few days before leaving, we had to say goodbye to our good friend, Barley (aka Snarf). He has a lovely spot to run free now, his favorite place, the Palmer Hayflats. He was our part of our family for the past four years, and hope his crazy, back-flipping spirit will accompany us on this journey. We will all miss him, maybe even Spike the cat.

Thanks for sending us your blog - loved the pics. Got choked up over the passing of your pal and that view is awesome. Enjoy every moment but don't forget to stop in and visit us when you land back on U.S. soil. Amor desde SantaFe!
