Hi everyone!
Well we've made it to KL safe and sound! It was sunny when we arrived but then the rain came down!! It's really warm though so I'm kind of grateful of the rain at the mo - little white girl still not used to the heat!
We ended up flying to Singapore rather than to Doha so it was just one 12 hour flight (lots of food and films and some more food (Marissa was happy)) then a 55 minute flight which worked out better but has left us with jetlag - even Matt didn't wake up until 2.10 this aft - I tried to get him up but to no avail - soooo lazy!!
We arrived yesterday afternoon but slept until 6pm then woke up to go on a little trek (and find food - ummm food!!). We walked up to the Petronas towers which are like KL's version of the twin towers (but obviously still standing). They are mad at night - at the very top smoke swirls around them - a bit spooky! It reminded me of Gotham City!
Then we went to get some food which was an experience!! As you

Matty drinking his Tiger beer like a good boy!know food is very close to my heart so when I was given the wrong meal (they told me that was what I HAD ordered but I can assure you it wasn't) I could feel the anger rising and a paddy coming on. But I had to hold it together and not let it put a dampner on our first night - well done Marissa! Matthew always manages to pick the good meals and he got chicken and rice which looked nice (I didn't want any of his of course). Anyway, it worked out for the best because after going for a pint (which cost us 4.50 quid each - OMG!) we found the street stalls which were fabulous!
For 5 quid we got chicken wings (so tasty) and a big plate of fried rice each (I got yung chow and Matty got beef) (Poo you would love it!) and 2 Tiger beers. We're gonna eat there every night! Ha!
Anyway, we're off now to China Town to go to the night market and find more food - WOO WOO!! Oh, and I'm going to purchase my first pair of earrings - canee wait man!!
Anyway, love you all - still can't believe we're all this way from home!! xxxxxxxxxx

Hello I'm glad to hear you got there safe and sound, and Mogg you know I'm with you on the food front, reading about it made me hungry....hungrier than 5 actually! I hope your both having fun and Mogg is moaning too much for you Matt (I know she's annoying but dont leave her in Borneo as tempting as it is), but I do feel you should come home now, I miss you lots Hoggle! I take it all back, you can pull my arm like a nagging girlfriend all you like, just come back! I know thats not going to happen, so just keep me posted on whats on the menu everywhere you go.
