Week 1- Soft landings

After a boozy flight to Bangalore, we were picked up by our driver and deposited effortlessly at our 5 star hotel.

Since then we have been enjoying expat life in Bangalore. Lots of great food, booze and all you can eat and drink champagne buffets.

This extravagant lifestyle has been interspersed with the bit of site-seeing, a day at the cricket and a night out clubbing, but mostly drinking and eating.

Thanks to the Internet we haven't even had to leave our plush surroundings to book our onward train journeys.

Thank you Donald for your unfaltering hospitality.
