Happy Xmas!Happy Xmas!Happy Xmas!

Us with our decorated tent for xmas!
Hello

Hope you all have had a fantastic tummy filled Christmas!! We had a super Christmas and Boxing Day (after feeling a little homesick on Christmas eve seeing everybody doing all there christmas shopping). We ended up having a bbq with a German guy camping next to us - steak and lamb if your interested, with just a little champagne and beer for Chris. During which Chris sustained a small injury, a nasty split on his lip which is currently healing. Now, I hear you ask, 'how did Chris do this to himself?' I am going to give you 3 options, and you can decide which sounds most likely for Chris...

a) he got into a fight
b) surfing accident
c) ran into a washing line

Boxing day was wonderful sunshine and we went to the beautiful park and listened to live music well into the evening. this is all arranged free of charge. The park has 3 stages, and live music every night up until mid february, very cool.

Then the following day the wind was roaring (for the thrid day in a row) and I managed to get up on my board and do some

proper kite surfing. All most splendid. An unexpectedly fantastic christmas.

The sun is scorching today, and we are planning on heading back to the beach this afternoon, which is all of 20 metres from where our tent is pitched. Ben, if you're reading this, I still feel terribly guilty about being here in the sunshine whilst it is so cold back home. Just terrible!

I hope you all have a great New Year

love Helena

Reasons for Chris running...
A reason for Chris running? It's got to be beer related. Anything else would just be a lie :-) It looks a bit like the Marshmellow man is about to sit on you both in that top picture :-) Glad to see you're both having a fantastic time, it's started to snow a bit around here! Brrrr. Have fun at New Years! Have fun! Si
