Checked into a random hostel which luckily was much nicer than the one in Melbourne. Headed out with Misang, a very sweet girl from Korea who I met on the tour. Got the feeling that I could see all of Adelaide in one day, so was glad I wasn't spending any more time there. We were pretty tired and I could tell walking around that the city has a pretty good night life but I just wasn't up for it. When a random guy popped out of an alley and asked us to get high with him, that was pretty much the cue that it was time to call it a night.

Friday Misang had left and I explored with Ying Ying from England. It was hot and humid so for a second I almost felt like I was back home in July! We did a fair amount of walking and hopped on the free sightseeing bus every once in awhile. Anyway, the city was attractive in terms of its architecture and overall small and quaint compared to Sydney (and even Melbourne) but nothing remarkable to comment about. We visited the National Wine Center and Bontanical Gardens for something to do in the afternoon. If I had had another day there, I suppose I would've visited a winery outside of the city since S. Australia is largely known for its wine. Ordered an iced coffee thinking it would be coffee with ice and was surprised when I got coffee with ice cream; basically a milk shake. I must've had quite a shocked look on my face because the guy who made it seemed very alarmed and instantly asked what was wrong and offered to make me an "American" iced coffee. I kept it though and it was delicious. Wow, I know not much went on that day when I start writing about coffee.

In the evening flew back to Sydney...

Well it looks like a pretty town. Sorry to see some random junkie popped out and asked you to get high with him. At least he just bothered you for that and did not inflict any harm. Merry Christmas! :)
