We arrived in Vancouver on an Air Canada Flight. The plane was delayed, as they are, and we were very tired when we arrived. Flight smooth but in flight entertainment yuk. It would have been better if I was six inches taller to see over the seat in front of me. it didn't matter, Dead Poet's Society....what century were we in?? I guess I didn't miss much. Tried to sleep and thanks to those pillows Jae, they helped a lot.
Vancouver is stunning. Such a beautiful place. The weather has been hot. Yesterday we went sailing on Jon and Gerry's sailing boat, "Allonsa~y" (french for "let's go") We Started in Howe Sound through the Gap and out into the Georgia Strait which is part of the Pacific ocean. The weather was so lovely there was no wind and the motor had to take over. Who cares...the scenery was stunning. There is snow on the mountain peaks, albeit not a lot but the Rockies are covered with them. On the plane John tried to show me all the snow on the peaks above the clouds. I tried to convince him they were clouds until we flew below the clouds. Clouds they were not! Just spectacular. Today we are going shopping. The girls are shopping for the usual things, what ever they can find, and the guys are going to a hardware store of which they are pretty happy about too. All are going to enjoy their shopping....hahahaha!

Well we arrived in Honolulu and it was Hot. As a stop over it was fantastic. Stayed on the beach and the weather was just wonderful. What a place to wind down to start our trip

Holland
We are in Holland now and the weather is very wet today but said to improve from tomorrow on. Canada was just fantastic. It is the most beautiful place I have seen. I could live where John and Gerry live. They are close to the water and go sailing every other week. It is such a relaxing place......only for the bears and cougars and cyotes. Not too keen on those roaming around the backyard. I would love to see more of Canada one day. Catch you later. Hope all is well and saya sapecial hi to Ruthy.
